Across eleven separate TV series and thirteen movies, Star Trek has created some of the most fascinating characters that audiences have ever witnessed. Even for a franchise in the science fiction genre, Star Trek stands out for the originality of it’s characters. In fact, you could make the argument that the characters more than the shows or movies themselves are responsible for the continued success of the franchise over many decades. While some were given full character arcs, there are still many others that did not quite get the time on screen that they deserve.
