Star Rover "Choir" - Philadelphia, Pa
We first met Jeremy Gustin, drummer and one half of Star Rover, nearly a year before we filmed this session. He is also the drummer for Delicate Steve, a session we filmed at Phila Moca in December of 2012. At the time, Gustin mentioned he had a solo project that he'd be coming through Philly later in the year with, and if we were interested, he'd love if we could film with him.
Fast forward to November of this year and we're in an empty Ortleib's, a small bar tucked away in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia. The band, with Will Graefe on guitar and Gustin on drums, resonated loudly throughout the space with both intricate guitar and drumming, equally exchanging rhythm responsibilities, and ultimately provided us with a rendition of their song "Choir." Enjoy.
