In Star Fox Assault, there are a few differences between the Japanese version and the English version.

In this video, we explore the first meeting of the Star Fox team with an Aparoid during the first level, Fortuna. In the Japanese version, the Aparoid shoots at Slippy, while in the English version, the Aparoid shoots at Krystal. Only the dialog and the character in the cockpit changes. The camera angles are the same.

Also different: the Japanese version is off by half a frame, and since these in-engine cutscenes run at 30fps, that difference is very noticeable.

Oh, and there is one other odd thing about this scene. Watch the video to find out what.

Footage recorded via Dolphin emulator using my own, self-ripped copy of Star Fox Assault.
