My favorite part of star conflict involves the character map. Are my builds "bad"? Sure, on paper it is, I get called a noob or get told I suck all the time. "It's not fast enough!" "The resists aren't good enough!" "You don't need all that damage, you can't play from range at all!" Even by people who die repeatedly to me.
But to these people I say, only a slow driver needs a fast car. They probably won't understand what that means because if they had an imagination they wouldn't be so distracted by what their perfect build looks like on paper, and might actually find a niche of their own to work instead of using the same copy and paste builds like robots. Oh sure I could use gauss cannons and sit in the very back and farm kills, but if I wanted to be that lazy I'd just play osu.
