This week, CIG introduced new Flight Blades and Weapon Kits during Invictus Launch Week—exciting new tech for our ships... but also a move that many saw as a clear pay-to-win cash grab.
The community responded with outcry across Spectrum and social media, and within 24 hours, CIG reversed the decision. So what really happened? Was this a test? A mistake? Or a sign of bigger shifts in Star Citizen’s monetization strategy?
