We cannot and will not stay silent when candidates are being intimidated
Sabeena Khan – a dedicated teacher, a young British woman, and a Workers Party candidate – in tears because yet another of her banners has been torn down. Shopkeepers who gladly gave her permission to post flyers are now apologising and taking them down after receiving threatening phone calls. They’re being harassed and told to replace her posters with those from another party.
This isn’t just about Sabeena. This is happening to candidates across Greater Manchester.
We know the party behind this has backed genocide. We know they’ve been supported by Zionists. We know they are complicit in the killing of hundreds of thousands of children. So maybe it’s naive to ask why they’re doing this. But we can’t pretend it isn’t happening.
Sabeena is working tirelessly to represent you – and instead of support, she’s being intimidated to tears.
So here’s the hard question:
If Sabeena Khan is elected, who will she represent?
