that one is kinda lame and depreciated, I've made a new one that supports DX10 mode and is much less dark, get it here:

The zip file contains the required binaries for SweetFX to work with install instructions, if the game crashes after you start it, launch the game directly from "XR_3DA.exe" in the "bins" folder in the main Lost Alpha Directory. Unfortunately you cannot run this mod under DirectX10 mode, I've tried different DX10 and 11 dlls but none of them work, sorry.
