Our war memorial commemorates Bank of England staff who died in the two world wars. It was designed by British sculptor Richard Reginald Gouldon, a member of The Royal Society of Sculptors and The Art Workers Guild. Gouldon served with the Corps of Royal Engineers during the First World War.
