Join me for a massive dive into the BiG SiX. In this video, I describe exactly how I use it to mix various Eurorack and synth sources for recording directly to tape. Then I go through some scenarios of using it as an audio interface to my computer and work back to a combined, hybrid workflow of analogue mixing, digital processing, recording and remixing. It's long, there's a lot to cover, and I wanted to show all my workings. See below for quick links to the parts that might interest you, or maybe watch it in sections over a few sessions.

The BiG SiX is a high-spec desktop mixer and audio interface that combines some of the best analogue mixing circuitry around with smooth USB multi-tracking. SSL sent it to me to see if it would help improve the sound and workflow of my relatively modest synthesizer studio. We shall see.
