Now playing the remix mode. the people that made this game call themselves "fixing" the problems of the original SSF2T when in reality they did nothing of the sort.
I don't consider making a bunch of stupid changes to the player version of Akuma or messing with the properties of the characters fixing anything them. if they really wanted to fix something then they should have made it so the ai can't cheat you to hell with I-framing through your attacks, frame skipping and charge move abuse along with the stupid high damage output.
Lack of modes in this game isn't helping anything too. they could have at least made it so we can fight the ai in vs mode since playing arcade mode is boring especially when no other players are around.
That's why all of you see me playing the Dreamcast version like I do instead of this game or the Sega Saturn version or Hyper SF2 or the SF 30th collection since they lack the option to fight the ai in vs which is really annoying when companies do that since they really think everyone are playing online or always have someone to play with them in the room.
Now would I actually play this version of the game more if it had that option? yes, I would since I do like to give certain fighters a chance and being able to play a fighting game with the ai in vs mode helps me determine if I'll be able to enjoy a game or not. I really can't do that if I'm only able to play an arcade mode with random opponents because it makes it harder for me to learn characters if I can't just focus on one at a time.
And no, I'm not a big online player and I don't always want to play fighters online because of random internet problems that could pop up. I like doing what I used to back in the 90's and play games in the arcade against others without issues or with my friend on the snes and genesis since that was legit the most fun way to play and still is.
