Omega Tyrant | SSBU - Level 9 CPUs defeated by only Rollout @OmegaTyrant | Uploaded 4 months ago | Updated 4 hours ago
When I use Jigglypuff for my AI exploitation videos, I normally play her in a "pacifist" manner to manipulate the AI into beating themselves, but how about a video where I actually go on the offensive with Puff for a change? Well sort of, when thinking of more moves that are more memes than actually useful to see how the AI handles them, Rollout naturally came to mind, a move that never been good in every Smash game it appeared. So I tried to fight level nine CPUs using only Rollout, and unsurprisingly, it's yet another move the AI has far more difficulty handling than it should. Have to give them some credit though, they aren't helpless against the move and can put up some fight against it, unlike with Flare Blitz or Arm Rotor, and indeed it takes some tries to win this way, while "upping the ante" against a team of CPUs or trying to get a three stock win probably won't be possible. Regardless, it doesn't take that many tries to win by spamming only Rollout, and in a normal match against a CPU, if you have them at death percent while playing Puff, you could probably just let it rip with Rollout and get an easy KO.
I show three matches in this video because it didn't take that long and to show off that this isn't exclusive to only a single character's AI. For the CPUs chosen, I went with other pokemon for thematic flare, and because all three of Pikachu, Lucario, and Mewtwo more than have the tools to beat out Rollout or harshly punish it.
