In which Peach gangs up on all the bosses and makes extremely quick work of them.
This is meant to obsolete マジありs TAS made over three years ago, both through IGT and real-time, thanks to my own advancements in RNG bruteforcing ability. The general strat for all the bosses is identical: Use Peach, pull a Stitch Face turnip, and repeatedly Z-Drop it over and over to deal massive damage. Roughly ten seconds were saved in real-time, through manipulating all the RNG during the downtime between bosses instead of waiting in the Rest Area. 0.63s were saved in IGT, described through each individual boss as follows:
Rayquaza: Saved 0.14s due to fighting him in the first set of rounds instead of the second, which makes him have slightly less health.
Ridley: Saves 0.01s thanks to a slightly earlier Turnip throw, which leads to a slightly earlier grab and so on.
Petey: Loses 0.02s due to the games own IGT tracking; I defeat him before the times had a chance to rise, Petey *literally explodes* due to his health dropping to 0, and yet the timer still goes up during the slo-mo part. This doesnt happen for any other boss, so Im very confused as to why it happens here.
Duon: Loses 0.01s for reasons I dont understand, as I performed all the necessary actions at the exact same time as the old TAS.
Porky: Saves 0.16s due to fighting him in the second set of rounds instead of the third, which makes him have slightly less health.
Meta Ridley: Saves 0.37s thanks to his attack startup being slightly later, which allows me to more efficiently Z-Drop the Stitch and finish him off much earlier.
Crazy Hand: Loses 0.02s due to fighting him in the third set of rounds instead of the first, which makes him have slightly more health.
Master Hand: Loses 0.04s due to acting later than the old TAS, preventing me from Z-Dropping as early as I could.
Tabuu: Saves 0.01s due to a very slightly better Z-Drop at one point; everything else is the same.
With everything said, I believe the time could get as low as a 7.04 assuming all the small timelosses from those respective bosses get reduced to 0, but Im not sure how feasible many of those actually are. This would absolutely require even more exact RNG bruteforcing than what I currently have available (To the point where bruteforcing isnt enough; I need to know *what* each individual number actually does), but Im still satisfied with the current result.

Input file time of 2958 frames/6007 VIs (1:38.60 and 1:40.12 respectively), video timeline says otherwise.
LOTAD, due to the hack changing RAM values around that makes the Match Input lua script not work properly (I was able to re-find some values, but the script was still incomplete). Key improvements include getting the stair BLJ after clipping through the floor at the upstairs section (Which I tried for a while and could not get for the life of me), and doing the Squish Cancel at Bowser in the Sky (Which was skipped both because of the lua issues and because Im not as good at TASing this as all the other folks in the TASing Discord, and Scattershot). At least I got the sub-1:40, based on the input file.

In which, despite previously calling this a horrible idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AvssarlEYo , I ended up doing it anyway just to see what was possible.
This beats the current RTA WR by about 10 minutes and 55 seconds when adjusting for timing differences, achieved through extremely heavy amounts of CPU manipulation to get them to act stupid all the time (Despite setting the difficulty to Hard), getting instant setups for melee infinites, and a particular glitch that occurs when you skip a story cutscene too quickly (Which doesnt reset the enemys position and action state) that allows such things as skipping the Kamehameha clash at the end of the Cell Saga among other smaller instances.
This serves as a baseline TAS, as despite its simplicity on the surface, theres a number of things I didnt check for. Theres also a menu skip that I only found out about at the beginning of the Android Saga that can also be used at two other points before that.
TAS Notes
Common Enemy (vs Raditz)
Kamehameha spam is faster here (As is usually the case with some exceptions). I can get the CPU to act differently depending on when I use the Kamehameha after charging energy, when I stop charging the Kamehameha itself right before its fired, and where my position is when the CPU gets up. Out of all these options, changing when I use it is the best situation, as the extra energy I charged can be used to fire the next one in a shorter time.
Gokus Quiet Rage (vs Nappa)
Here, its actually faster to follow the story for a bit before landing on Gohan, at which we spam Masenko attacks to take Nappa out. The parts with Tien and Chiaotzu are on a fixed timer before the story can progress, so I use Melee infinites involving Heavy Finishes and Ground Slashes to keep Nappa stuck. Both of their energy attacks freeze time when used, which delays the point where you can progress the story, so despite their higher damage, theyre slower overall. With Tiens section after Chiaotzus sacrifice, the story only progresses when Tien loses all his HP. By pressing C-Left or C-Right rapidly while getting hit, you perform a Get off of me energy wave that takes about half of your own health bar. Gohans Masenko deals nearly 6K damage, in contrast to Chiaotzus 4K Psychic Rock Throw.
Ultimate Decisive Battle (vs Vegeta)
The same story as with Raditz.
Super Saiyan?! (vs The Ginyu Force)
Kaioken x20 Kamehameha spam is faster here, broken up with using Gokus Im Getting Excited skill to increase his energy charging rate.
Friezas Ultimate Transformation! (vs The Z Fighters but actually only Vegeta)
Its faster to exclusively fight Vegeta and take out all of his health bars in his first form than go through the intended story, fighting everyone else, and transforming. Friezas Death Beam deals so little damage that his Melee infinites are exclusively faster (In addition to a Pump Up that deals even more).
Defeat Frieza! (vs Frieza)
Faster to exclusively fight Frieza as Goku instead of switching to Piccolo and back to Goku. Melee infinites are faster than Kamehameha spam this time. Im able to use Give Me Energy! while Frieza is stuck from a Heavy Finish to power up a Spirit Bomb similar to the actually intended story, which deals about 14K HP. Its a second or so faster than continuing Melee infinites with Im Getting Excited!
Legendary Super Saiyan (vs Frieza)
In contrast to the RTA route which only uses Gokus base form to fight Frieza until the end, I found it was just barely possible to turn Super Saiyan and take Frieza out without having him reach 100% Power and get all his HP back. The game forces that cutscene and HP restore if Frieza falls under 20K HP while Goku is a Super Saiyan. Turns out, a beam clash with Friezas Death Ball while using the Angry Kamehameha after using Now Im Mad! does 20,320. To get the blast stocks required, I manipulate the AI to fire energy blasts that I can deflect.
Enraged Android (vs Android 19)
Its faster to just complete the entire story section as normally intended. I need Gokus HP to drop to 0 (Assisted with that Get off of me wave I used with Tien), then need to knock 19 down as Vegeta (Using a single Ki blast that 19 doesnt absorb for some reason), then need 19 to knock *me* down (Harder than it sounds because most of its attacks dont even flinch Vegeta), and then need to get 19 under 40K HP, before the scripted Big Bang Attack finishes the job.

Since my last attempt at TASing this game, theyve improved the input recording and savestate issues to the point where a TAS can stay relatively in sync when isolated from stuff like save files.
Unfortunately, it still has its issues, which I was narrowly able to avoid thanks to saving some extra savestates at the start of the match.
As for the actual TAS itself: Its really basic, all things considered. Citra still has the bug where it erases all input for the frame a savestate is reloaded, which meant that I couldnt easily do complicated things even if I wanted to.
There was a number of RNG manipulations in order to get the hard challenges when entering the doors, and some smaller ones to get wanted stat boosts over others.
