On February, 14th 2025 the Historic S.S. United States was successfully moved across from Pier 82 to Pier 80 in Philadelphia, preparing to leave the city she has called home since 1996, to be deployed as an artificial reef in Okaloosa County, Florida. This animation showcases the operation of moving the once 50,000-ton liner across to the adjacent pier.
