We do B-itemless route in Any% now so have to beat him with only bomb flowers. The old strat for bombless has a chance that his eye hit box for skyward strike is gone and unable to kill. The hit box is gone when his stun timer runs out. However, if you attack him enough to cancel the stun, the hit box stays and can hit with skyward strike. Thus it's consistent with this strat.
