This trick seems to be work only on English v1.0. This trick so far doesn't work on japanese version of the game. What pretty much makes this speedrun trick useless. Here I present you new big sequence break in AC. With this trick you can skip most of this dungeon and get early to the top level and basement without opening a single door! This almost gives us way to beat this dungeon without diving ability. If we could find early AC and then somehow beat this dungeon early. That might open new possibilities.
TO DO:
You need to backflip in the little crack on the floor. !!BACKFLIP IS REALLY REALLY PRECISE!! Backflip in currently only way to do this because in this game when you get near ledge edges link will always make a small jump.He never drops straight down like in other zelda games. So this is where backflip comes in. If you very precisely backflip in crack link will fall oob and you can walk in there freely. Then just watch link's shadow to see where collision edges goes. Just as I did in this video. After you have make your way near rope. All you need to do is jump to it and climb all way up to the loading zone!
BTW: You can also use beetle here to fly underwater. Nothing big but fun thing to try out!
To make this somehow easier you can use first person view to aim and then try to walk near wall and when you see Link making little hop, that is where your crack onto floor is. Trying backflipping over it. If he doens't fall trough, then try changing his angle with C.
