"Sri Aurobindo: The Mounting Fire, Part 2" is the second of a series of talks given by Dr. Ananda Reddy at the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) in Puducherry, India, from the 7th - 14th of August, 2019 . In Part 2 he discusses Sri Aurobindo as the Avatar of the present age, his integral philosophy that has been recognized the world-over, the Kali Yuga that we are living in and certain of Sri Aurobindo’s past incarnations, such as Socrates, Augustus Caesar and Leonardo DaVinci. Throughout the talk he draws on many insights from The Mother. Dr. Ananda Reddy has traveled widely across India, the USA, Europe and the far East to share his insights and research on Sri Aurobindo's life and works. His deep understanding of Sri Aurobindo has come about through his incessant study over the last 50 years. Living directly under the care of the Mother from 1958, he was chiseled and made by Her and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. In the year 1998 he built SACAR in order to facilitate the study of the vision and work of Sri Aurobindo in a systematic manner. Living Light Productions has provided background enhancement (with some special effects highlighting Sri Aurobindo’s breadth and luminosity) in this first talk of the series that was first published on the Ananda Reddy youtube channel.
