⏷ MY NEW ALBUM: STILL TURNING ⏷
This story begins with my loss of self-control despite favorable circumstances, doomed romance and the independence of being left alone to fight my bullies and weakness. It explores my self-acceptance that ignited the most intense experiences of my life; whether discovering my PTSD terrors or learning to love myself, it was far from easy. In that sense, this is about determination.
More importantly though, it's about honesty. I learned to be honest with myself and extend that openness to others. This is how I met my current partner and fell in love, exposed and unafraid, sharing every bit of ourselves with each other. Our team effort-- with all its ups and downs-- is my light in the dark. Every experience we encounter is given hope by our truth, and our combined force is unstoppable. All because we laid our souls bare and refused to look away.
I hope you benefit from this account of my 2017. It was a rough year for all of us, but don't give up. Take care of yourself, and keep your loved ones close. Be kind. Ask yourself difficult questions about who you are and what you want. Answer yourself honestly, especially if it makes you uncomfortable. I promise there is peace of mind beyond that discomfort... perhaps even true love.
Thank you for listening. Your support of my dream has kept me going in the darkest of times, and for that I am eternally grateful.
