I know I speak for a lot of Kingdom Hearts fans when I say that a lot of us came out of yesterday’s state of play direct extremely bitter. I told myself not to get my hopes too high for it, and I STILL came out of the direct in a very bad mood. It has been FOUR YEARS since Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced, and in those four years we literally haven’t gotten a SINGLE update about it other than “progress is going smoothly.” It’s clear that Square Enix hasn’t learned a single thing from the KH3 situation, because they’re allowing history to repeat itself, except even worse this time! Because at least with THAT game we at least got updates within the span of a couple years, sometime even the span of LESS than a year, not to mention we got 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage ro hold us over, while with this game, nothing! Remember back in the first 10 years of the franchise when Kingdom Hearts games were only spaced like 2-3 years apart from each other? Well nowadays we’re lucky if we even get an ANNOUNCEMENT in that time! I’m starting to think that Square Enix might be one of the absolute worst video game companies in existence! Because they clearly don’t care about listening to their fans as much as they care about falling asleep on the job! I'm almost convinced Kingdom Hearts 4 will NEVER come out because Square Enix is too busy napping to do anything!
