Welcome back to my special playthrough series of the July 11, 1998 Prototype Build of the Original Spyro The Dragon!
This Prototype version of the Original Spyro The Dragon many changes to this game like the music in different levels & no cutscenes in this build besides the home dragons.
This build starts up with a "temporary boot menu" instead of a title screen or any of the copyright screens.
The soundtrack is in a completely different order compared to the final release, and only 10 tracks are present.
Many sound effects are missing throughout the game plus many of the sounds that are present are different.
Many of the dragons have not yet received their final animations.
Gem placement differs in quite a few places across the game.
The extra life statues are gold instead of silver.
All balloonists look the same, sporting a blue outfit with a red scarf, rather than each being different as in the final.
All boss levels are called "BOSS" instead of their respective names.
All flight levels are called "FLYING" instead of their respective names.
Alpine Ridge is called Alpine Cliffs
Gnasty's World is called the maciniIsts world.
Gnorc Cove and Twilight Harbor have switched names in this version.
The level "GNASTY GNORC" is called "GNASTY PLACE".
Gnasty's Loot is called "BOSS", just as other levels with a level ID ending in 4 do in this build.
The following levels takes place for Part 2
Peace Keeper's Home World
Dry Canyon
Cliff Town
Ice Cavern
Doctor Shemp
Night Flight
