Welcome to a special Spyro The Dragon In game Custom Level
Well, it finally happened!
The Spyro 1 modding scene is on the brink of a revolution.
While most people still think of custom content as simple texture swaps/hacks and color hacks (like I used to do back in the 2010s), there’s an entirely new toolkit being developed that’s about to change everything, a proof of concept that’s demonstrating exactly how Spyro 1 modding will change soon.
The question isn’t “if” it’s coming, but “when” it launches.
The video below features @Cyreides and @ElloOfficers custom Dark Hollow inspired level, aptly named Grim Garden
Want to download the level for yourself?
You need a legally owned copy of Spyro the Dragon to play.
Use a xdelta patcher to patch your disk, and then you can run the game.
