In this video I walk you through a 'fresh' dataset, as if you have just downloaded your responses from Qualtrics, Surveymonkey, etc. We start off by reverse scoring certain items on two scales (a 20 item, and a 10 item scale). Then we calculate Cronbach's alpha for the scales and sub-scales. We then calculate a summed score for one of the variables, and the mean score for the others. SPSS v28.
