Spry Whimsy Fiber Arts is located about 20 minutes south of the Madison Beltline on Hwy 51/
168 W Main Street in Stoughton, WI.
You may know us as a felting and spinning shop, but we are a yarn shop with an extensive yarn selection and….WE are growing!
We are working hard to bring you the yarns locally that you know and love.
Laura: From Cascade, Plymouth and Universal to the Fibre Company and Malabrigo, we carry a wide variety of weights, fiber contents and textures. We also carry some more difficult-to-find specialty yarns such as Rauma Finullgarn – a fingering weight yarn made from Norwegian wool and spun in Norway. We have over 50 colors in stock - perfect for colorwork.
Another favorite is Feederbrook Entropy DK made from Blue Faced Leicester wool – dyed and spun in Maryland. It knits up like a kaleidoscope and is a pure joy to work with.
We have Knitter’s Pride and HiyaHiya needles and carry Namaste and Della Q accessories.
This fall we are celebrating Socktoberfest and have created a special “Sock World” in the store. We have a Facebook group for each of our knit alongs including our current Socktober 2020 so you can post your progress, ask questions and see other’s creative work.
November we will be doing a communal knit along with the sock leftovers for a
Thanksgiving cowl project.
Our brand new website contains most of our yarns. We can ship and offer curbside pickup.
