Spruce Street Harbor Park is Philadelphia's number one summer destination for urban beach relaxation. This Penn's Landing gem features rentable paddle boats - including swans, unicorns and a dragon. More than 100 hammocks-for-two lie below thousands of multicolored LED strings in the trees which set the lighting for a romantic night in the city. Each Saturday, Spruce hosts the Art Star Pop Up Market during which local artist gather to offer handcrafted art and home goods. Within some converted trailers is super-reasonably priced arcade with skeeball, air hockey, basketball and lots of shooters. The surrounding pop-up pubs offer Pennsylvania craft beers for you to enjoy while playing on one of the two bocce ball courts. Our favorite part was the floating bar and restaurant where we enjoyed blueberry beers and street tacos while relaxing on the large net-beds over the Delaware River. A definite must-visit for Philadelphia natives and tourists.
