I love the Van Life Movement. The freedom to travel in your own mobile home sounds great to me! When the opportunity to buy a used Mercedes Sprinter Van for a good price came along we jumped at it. Now this van is far from new having done 300,000 klms but it has a new engine which is quite a lot of money. The fit out was done a light as possible using 3, 6 and 9mm Plywood mostly.
It has a 250 watt Solar Panel on the Roof, 150 Amphr Lithium Battery with a Renogy DC to DC charger. Toilet and shower, water, Windows all added to the build. My wife and I (and the Dog) have had several short trips away. Love it!
