Silent 8mm film kaleidoscope of trains around the Illinois state capitol in the early 70s. GM&O, IC (before and after the "G"), Illinois Terminal, Chicago & Illinois Midland, N&W and even some B&O. I'm not very familiar with Springfield, but it appears most of the footage was taken in and around C&IM's Shops Yard. Illinois Central's Avenue Yard and engine facility was also a few blocks from Shops Yard.
