Analysis from Climate Central finds spring has warmed by 2.6°F in 236 U.S. cities since 1970, with parts of the Southwest warming nearly 7°F.
Warmer, earlier springs may sound appealing, but they also bring less snowpack, earlier snowmelt, added stress on Western water supplies, and longer allergy and mosquito seasons.
