Shadow Work in Card Divination
• When doing 'shadow work', do you have a certain deck you prefer over another one? If so, which one (or ones)?
• Do you have a certain spread you like to use when doing shadow work?
• Sometimes, especially in times of conflict, some of us tend to turn to the Tarot more often for guidance or inspiration. How much tarot is too much?
Artists' Arena Match-up
• In this month's artist match-up, we will be discussing Alex Ukolov & Karen Mahoney's Bohemian Gothic deck and Ian Daniels' Tarot of Vampyres.
• They're both dark so we will talk about the different ways these two "shadowy" decks compare to each other.
• We'll discuss how each deck stands up on the following points:
*Backings
*Features of artwork on 4 major arcana cards.
3 of them are from a series Ardis OwlMoon did on working with
shadow cards.
- The Tower
- The Devil
- Death
- The Lovers (I just thought these were cool because it's one that was really similar.)
*Usability (reading for others)
Viewer Readings & Questions
• First come, first serve! We will attempt to get to as many people as possible. Please come prepared with one question of some sort and a preference of whom you would like to read for you.
