@AnaBonduMixedMedia comes back to show you that spray paints can be used on Gel Press. She has been using them for a few years, today she shares with you her process or some of her tips.
Important precaution: work in a well ventilated room. (a mask may not be useless)
Gel Press disclaimer: Gel Press plates are made to be durable and long lasting but please take caution with mediums used on the plate. There are mediums that can make your Gel Press plate degrade. While we like to encourage the creative experimenting with different mediums on the plate, it's important to be aware that this can lead to using mediums that contain solvents like (but not limited to) Acetone, Methanol, and Triethylamine, which are common solvents in some paint types -specifically spray paints.
Should you decide to use a medium with these types of solvents in it, please be aware that it may damage your Gel Press plate and make it no longer useful for printing.
* Gel Press does not assume any responsibility for mediums used on the Gel Press plate that lead to damaging the plate. Gel Press plates damaged from solvent based mediums are not eligible for a refund.
