Making the arts accessible to every child, teen, and young adult regardless of their financial circumstances helps provide a path for them to follow their passions through music and dance.
Sueños y Esperanza
Under the direction of Lázaro Vargas and La Maestra Mari Millán, the ballet folklorico group Sueños y Esperanza is formed by young people with Down syndrome, autism, and other kinds of neurodivergence. Sueños y Esperanza is distinguished by its level of equity and inclusion in competitions and events. The group has received ovations, trophies, and recognition at events in Southern California and Mexicali.
