Add a bit of flair to the standard nylon hood by adding an ALPS locking nut which also helps to better secure your reel to the fishing rod. Add in the reel seat pipe extension allows you to use the ALPS locking nuts without the fear of shortening the opening between the reel seat retainer and hood.

Can be used with casting or spinning reel seats.
