Spotify Wrapped for Artists is just... kinda dumb.

The reason why I believe this is because most of these stats you can find in your Distributor or straight from the Spotify for Artists Analytics page itself. I do believe it is beneficial to have it presented to you actively once a year as a recap of what you may (or may not) have accomplished in your music production & artistic journey. At the same time what bothers me is people (including me) can get TOO sucked into comparison because you start to see all of your peers with millions of streams and you wonder... "why am I not there yet?"
Rather than ruminating on things you can't change and festering on what million things you aren't doing wrong, how about you focus for once on what you did RIGHT? You have SOME numbers here, yes? (if you released any music that is) so why not instead celebrate the fact that ANYONE has given you their time and supported your art? Something to think about.
