We know that when warm water stagnates there is a risk of legionella developing.
To prevent this, numerous European regulations order that a high temperature be kept in the system to kill this bacteria.
However, this has other consequences such as a serious risk of scalding.
In order to counter this, we have developed the SECURITHERM electronic SPORTING.
We have also integrated a thermostatic mixer in the shower panel’s head.
Hot water arrives directly in the shower panel and is mixed with cold water from the network. This mixed warm water is instantly delivered to the user without a delay.
There is, therefore, no circulation of warm water in the shower panel or in the pipework.

This thermostatic mixer also serves as an anti-scalding protection, meaning that the water flow is immediately shut off if there is a hot or cold water malfunction.
It also constantly regulates the water temperature so as to guarantee complete comfort in the shower.
This shower panel has non-contact operation meaning that a hand just needs to be passed in front to activate it, it will stop automatically after 60 seconds or if the user puts their hand in front of the sensor again.
Use of the panel is therefore completely contactless and safe for the user.
In order to guarantee perfect hygiene, the SECURITHERM SPORTING carries out a periodic duty flush every 24 hours after the last use in order to prevent bacteria developing in the network.
In terms of design we wanted to keep the same shapes as the SPORTING, the legendary product fitted in sporting installations across the world.
Thanks to the SECURITHERM electronic SPORTING we are able to combine features that are key for public places such as design and safety. This unique, simple and aesthetic solution guarantees the user’s safety under the shower in public buildings.
