Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion is a neat little indie horror game that combines atmosphere, simple gameplay, and off-beat humor into a unique and compelling package. While it seems fairly basic at first glance, Spooky's constantly mixes up the formula to keep the player guessing what comes next. Definitely worth a look, and in this quick video I attempt to explain why.

Toren is a 2015 adventure game by Brazilian developer SwordTales. I wanted to love this game due to the beautiful art and atmosphere, but unfortunately the janky controls and sometimes glitchy platforming keep this from being the homerun it otherwise should have been. Still worth a look if youre into the aesthetic.

If you are into fast-paced, ultra violent, psychedelic experiences, then Post Void may be the game for you. At $2.99, this game is an absolute steal. It completely flew under my radar, but has to be one of my favorite games from the last couple years.
