Best Pumpkin Castle Day Ever 1295
It's that time of year again, for our family tradition of going to the pumpkin patch full of slides, a corn pit (very similar to a ball pit, but smells way better), and pumpkins everywhere! It's one of our favorite holiday routines! This year is extra special because Navey can run around and fully experience it for herself for the very first time.
We head to the super tall slide first, its the ones the kiddos love. On the way we see a skeleton sitting on a toilet! What the?!! lol this place is crazy and so much fun. We make the climb up the slide till we get to the top. Adley says that I should go first to to do a speed test on the slide and i am ok with that. It's fast and thats perfect. The kiddos go down one at a time, Adley, then Niko Bear is brave and goes all by himself, with Navey and Jenny bringing up the end. The kiddos love it so much, the want to do it again! My kiddos love slides so much that we had to to all of them here and multiple times each.
After a few slides, we all jump in the corn pit to build a corn castle (it's like a sand castle) and to bury the kiddos in corn. Adley and Niko love digging and playing with the corn while Navey thinks its great to jump all over it. The kiddos play in an inflatable pumpkin bounce house, get spooky in a giant ghost, and have a dance party on a stage we found. We find some farm animals to feed and before you know it, Niko shouts the floor is lava. Quick, get to the obi before we turn into lava monsters!!
We go through tunnels and ride the tractor cow train before ending the slide fun by trying to all go down a giant slide as a family. We now need to get some pumpkins to do some DIY crafts and help decorate our house!!
After we get home, Navey takes a nap while Niko and Adley play MineCraft and watch our mouse in the house vlogs. So I head to the backyard to skate the skate park. You got to keep your hobbies as a parent and this is for sure mine. I take you guys with me on a journey to land a trick. It takes a few tries but I get it! Niko comes out to watch and cheer me on.
We are also really into this new thing called Air Up. Its this genius way of drinking water. They have these scent pods that you put on the end of their water bottle that tricks your brain into thinking you are drinking flavored water but you aren't, it's so cool. The Spacestation is kinda obsessed with them and they were awesome and hooked me and Jenny up! Big thanks and you should totally check them out!!
After skating and the backyard, we head to the our friend Levi and Sara's house for a spooky Halloween party. The have all sorts of cute treats like pumpkins made for oranges and mummy hot dogs. We make ginger bread haunted houses, paint pumpkins, play a new game called don't eat Frank (that Niko is amazing at). Adley and her friend are playing around with Levi's face (his mask for his costume) when they accidently throw it on the roof of their house. We have to go on a rescue mission to get it back! Luckily Adley is a fearless Witch and can fly up to, Niko did have his Spiderman powers at the time.
We end the night with the kiddos sliding on wood floors, taste testing lemon juice, and pulling a paint prank!! Definitely a best spooky day ever!!
