Hey everyone! trackmaniamatt here with a brand new video!
This is the music from "The Thug Tug!" level from The SpongeBob SquarePants 3D Movie Game! This is also a shortened instrumental of the song "You Better Swim" by Motorhead, and the only known instrumental version of the song. Their other song, "You Better Run" was the basis for the tune. How I got such a clean rip of this music, I will explain.
The audio files from the 3D Groove GX games were in .wav format. However, they used a slightly different codec at the header, which is GMA0. Standard .wav files use the RIFF header. Thanks to the owner and founder of the 3D Groove Games Discord Server, TOMYSSHADOW, a tool has been created, by him, to convert the GMA0 .wav files to standard RIFF .wav files!
Now that I have this tool, you will be seeing many more videos of the music and audio clips from other 3D Groove GX games.
This particular video I forgot to remove the Maintain Aspect Ratio checkbox in Vegas Pro 16, so it's gonna look different from previous videos regarding this game's soundtrack. Sorry about that.
