Spongebob Squarepants -- what can I say? Its awesome. I wanted to make this video for Chris (BuffyProdz) who is a huge fan of this wacky cartoon. Chris and I have been friends for a few years now, and he's a huge inspiration for me when it comes to writing and vidding. You should all check out his channel, which I'll link you all to at the bottom. I'm really happy to be Chris' friend, he's probably the nicest person you'll ever talk to, and I hope despite the HUGE career he's bound to get a hold of in the scriptwriting industry, we don't lose contact.

Feedback much loved :D

![Black Siren | You Thought You Could Replace Me? [5x23]
That finale was intense, man. The best part was OF COURSE our girl Black Siren wiping the floor with that pretender. I cant wait to have a whole season with this character.
Ive made a Laurel Lance video to this song, and felt it was appropriate for Black Siren, too. I like the idea of having one for both. Feels fitting.
Let me know what you think! :) Black Siren | You Thought You Could Replace Me? [5x23]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/TNf8LLsmA0M/mqdefault.jpg)

![Smallville | Home
A look at the journey of Clark Kent over the course of Smallville, and some of the significant relationships, people, and events, that helped shaped his future, which includes:
Trust me Clark, our friendship is going to be the stuff of legend.
The friendship between Clark and Lex was doomed from the beginning, but the evolution from best friends to enemies is one of the best highlights of the series. Clarks inability to completely and absolutely trust Lex, and Lexs obsessions, stood between these two from the start and ultimately drove them into battle. As Lex said early on in the series, its not about how the story ends, its about the journey, and it was a hell of a journey for Clark Kent and Lex Luthor.
Im supposed to have all the answers. It kills me that I dont, but - youve gotta have faith.
Jonathans guidance, morals and humanity were carried on even after his death, as his belief in Clarks heroics and destiny to be great - no matter what mind games Jor-El would pull on him - kept Clark going. He was one of the biggest influences on Clarks journey, and truly represented this piece of humanity that would not have brushed off on Clark had he been found by any other person (shown in Luthor). He raised the man Clark Kent became, and he was the perfect person to hand over the suit for Clark to embrace on his next journey as Superman.
My parents met here. I guess - Im just looking for something to hold on to.
The relationship between Clark Kent and Lana Lang lasted for eight seasons, and while they constantly broke up, they always found themselves back in one anothers arms. Lanas desperation to [find] something to hold on to, such as the Talon, her parents, also extended to Clark. Despite what was thrown their way, they could never truly move on, until Lex forced them apart.
You know Ill always be here for you. You know that right?
Chloe Sullivan. The woman that stood by Clark no matter what, and never gave up on him. She was his best friend - the woman that would always have his back, and always do everything in her power to protect him. Their friendship lasted 10 seasons, and they always overcame whatever obstacles stood between them. Chloe was always there for Clark, and always will be...
Smallville is home, Clark. Not this one, THIS Smallville - right here...
Lois Lane grounds Clark Kent - she is the woman who, no matter how high or far Clark will soar, will give him reason to return home. The series showed them as partners, friends, lovers, and soul mates. While Clark has to put Smallville in his past, he will always find his home in Lois Lane. And vice versa. ![Chloe Sullivan | Who You Are
There is something so powerful, and so uplifting about the character of Chloe Sullivan - a character who, I think, represents humanity in all its flaws, and beauty, and was someone the audience could relate to on many different levels because of how similar she was, and how strong, loyal, and true she was. She was so incredibly inspiring. No matter what was thrown her way, Chloe always managed to keep her head high, and power through it. You know, whether she was in High School, dealing with the love she had for someone that was never returned, or whether she was within the walls of Watchtower, protecting superhero vigilantes there was always something to latch on to, and understand and interpret that reflects your own life, something youve been through, something youre going through, but eventually, something, like Chloe, that youre going to hold your head up high and power through. I mean, who hasnt had feelings for someone who doesnt notice them back? Who hasnt locked themselves away from the world for however long because of something they were going through? On a show about superheroes, about good versus evil, and about meteor infected metahumans Chloe represented humanity.
Part of, if not the entirety of Chloes journey related to identity - to find who she was, inside and out. A few people hated how it seemed the character was forced into all these roles - sleuth, reporter, therapist, watchtower - but on that theme of humanity, it takes a while to understand who you are, and what you believe in, what you dont believe in, what youd fight for, and what you wouldnt. Chloe was trying to find who she was - was she Supermans best friend? Was she an intrepid reporter? Was she the worlds greatest detective? Was she a superhero? You know, her entire jourey shows her morals, and shows her integrity, and her willingness to fight for what shes most passionate about - whether its fighting for a job at the Daily Planet, or fighting to save her friends from anti-vigilante government attack! The character is so true to what Allison Mack said - Chloe represents strength and honesty, and I think that her most important value is love and loyalty, and she has upheld that above anything else in the last ten years.
Despite how brief Chloes final stint on Smallville was, she finally understood, after everything shes been through, and after all the battles she had fought - she understand WHO she was, and WHO she wanted to be, and most importantly, how she wanted to live up to those values. Chloe very much stayed true to that - she became a reporter, fulfulling her greatest passion in life, while at nights she searched for up-and-coming heroes who need that little extra push, for someone to believe in them - someone to inspire them. And in the end, us Chloe fans got to see where she ended up happy, in love, married, with a child to raise and protect and fight for, in a secure job as a reporter by day and hero by night. I think that line, where she something along the lines of inspiring [people] to greatness It reflected Chloes story so much, and really said straight out loud to the audience to LOOK at what Chloe has been through, see all the pain shes suffered through, all the hardships shes overcome - what shes lost, what shes had to do, and look at where she is now... happy. content. alive.
Im not sure I managed to grasp all of this into this video, but I thought the song was perfect for such a wonderful character. And you know, most people tuned in every week of Smallville looking up to Clark as their hero, but for me, every week I was looking up to Chloe. IMO, shes the strongest character on this show - on any show Ive seen, to be honest - and while that strength isnt represented in a roundhouse kick, or the ability to throw cars up in the air with bare hands, it was shown through her ability to keep her head held high - to never give up, and to always keep going. And she did - through all 10 seasons, through 202 episodes, right up until the series finale. Chloe Sullivan | Who You Are](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/UUqQwfEOb-M/mqdefault.jpg)
