Xkeeper | Spokane / Car catches on fire @Xkeeper0 | Uploaded January 2009 | Updated October 2024, 13 hours ago.
We were enjoying some nachos at a Mexican restaurant... then a girl runs in yelling for a fire exinguisher because her car's on fire.
Aparrently, it was filling with smoke so they ran out; for about 3 or so minutes, you could see sparks and flames coming out from under the engine; one of the employees tried ot use a fire extinguisher but it wasn't any use.
After a while, the fire started to get worse; the driver's side front panel (where the pedals are) was glowing orange since the panel had aparrently been destroyed... within a few more minutes a fire truck arrived and it was put out in fairly short order.
Luckily, nobody got hurt, but the car probably isn't going anywhere.
This was recorded a while after it started (3-6 minutes, my guess)... the car's electrical system actually held out for a while, but gave up the ghost a few minutes before this was recorded.
And before you say anything about the quality, it was recorded by hand and I was a bit more focused on the actual fire. Deal with it.
