here i am using my Weaver Leather hand crank splitter to thin out one of my briefcase straps. The leather is a thick about 10oz chestnut English bridle leather by wickett and craig. I love old hand crank tools. This is how i make my bags with very few motor tools, no sewing machines, etc.
