Nightmare Fog is a free limited-time mode available in Rainbow Six Extraction from May 12 to June 2. You and your team must venture into a dangerous purple haze to find and destroy the Toxic Tree, a parasite structure triggering the noxious fog that causes Operators to hallucinate Archaean enemies. The second Crisis Event also introduces new REACT tech: the rush pistol. Shoot stims at your teammates or yourself to give or gain a movement speed boost and invulnerability for 15 seconds.
In this video, we break down what to expect in Nightmare Fog and provide useful beginner tips for accomplishing the three objectives (including Decontamination and Removal) and surviving the three sub-zones. Make sure to keep an eye on your Neurotoxin levels! Rainbow Six Extraction is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, Amazon Luna, and Stadia, and is also included with a Ubisoft+ or Game Pass subscription.

And youll want to complete your studies ASAP to unlock the latest piece of REACT gear, the Auto Turret. Need someone to watch your back while reloading, the Auto Turret comes with 60 rounds to help you hold off any Archaeans that approach their line of sight.
