Another Buried Ruins level, which means there are 3 more Relics tied to each of your 3 Tanks to get.

The next new Seasoned Salmonid waiting for you at the end of this is the Jumbo Big Shot. Clearly, he's even bigger than a normal Big Shot, and so is his spring.

Those shockwaves from the Jumbo Big Shot can be quite a hassle to deal with, so take him out as soon as you can. At the same time, though, his spring lets him jump really high, so if you're using grounded attacks like Big Man's Manta Dance, you might not get a lot of your hits in on him.
----

- Beat this level with the Power Tank, and you'll get a Ballroom Mask.

- Beat this level with the Tactical Tank, and you'll get a Bamboo-Shoot Brooch.

- Beat this level with the Speed Tank, and you'll get a Sea Bead.
----------

After first beating the Alphreydo Buried Ruins, a Spirhalite Islands give way to a more ominous location to raid. Somewhere on Izakaya Island...

Big Man's scared of the island, but Shiver & Frye are eager to take it on to find more treasure, including that hidden gold that was written about in that old plate.

Shiver, in particular, offers to team up with the Mechanic personally to take on that spot. She doesn't trust Mechanic enough to not swipe the treasure away behind Deep Cut's backs.

Big Man also found a lot of the group's pictures of their fun times in Splatsville. Looks like they all got tossed when their helicopter crashed.

It specifically looked to be Shiver's own pictures with her group. She really does love and care for Frye & Big Man, but her outwards personality can't let her outright admit that, and she bonks both of them on the head when they approach her about it more. Awwwwww!

But it's decided. If you take on that specific ominous spot, you can ONLY use Shiver as your Bot Buddy for it, including on re-raids. This is will be your Mechanic's opportunity to prove their innocence to her.
----------

Lastly, although I had failed my first Speed Tank run through this level at one point, something else good still happens.

For using Big Man and his Showstopper enough times, he will approach your Mechanic for a personal heart-to-heart.

Big Man's impressed with Mechanic's raiding skills and wants to know how they do it. The advice he was getting from Shiver & Frye wasn't helping much...

Big Man initially thought that he was as strong as he could be and couldn't push himself any further, but watching Mechanic fight off the Salmonids inspired him to try. He was determined to improve his Manta Dance Showstopper to help Mechanic more with these raids.
----

The more often you use each Deep Cut member as your Bot Buddy, the more they will bond with you. This can be done with each of them up to 3 times.

Your Level 1 Bond with Big Man will give you a Briny Scroll that describes his history of being the current head of his Manta Clan.
