The grand finale event of Splatoon 3 is finally here! The three idol groups from the trilogy are gathering together for the ultimate Grand Festival, while the inklings and octolings go into all-out war over which time period in their lives is the most important to them: the Past, the Present, or the Future! My friends and I agreed that since the three of us are now aunts and uncles to a new generation, we're going to fight for their Future!
A few special changes have been made for this final Splatfest. The first is a special venue where you can watch the idols perform on three different stages. As for actual battles, the Splatfest battle themes from the previous games all make a return, accompanied by the corresponding idol group's version of "Now or Never" playing during the last minute. And since the teams are represented by different idol groups instead of different members of Deep Cut, some new 10x, 100x, and 333x news blurb dialogue has been added for the Squid Sisters and Off The Hook. But the biggest change involves Tricolor mode, specifically that it's now available from the beginning! The active stage for Tricolor Battle cycles through all previous ones every 2 hours, and after cycling through all of them, it then becomes random each time until the final 24 hours when the recently-liberated Grand Splatlands Bowl makes its appearance.
On Day 2, I manage to get a decent run on the Random Tricolor stage rotation that started at 1:00 A.M. this morning and goes until 5:00 P.M.! Coming up on Day 3, I'm joining my friends for the final Tricolor stage!
