I don't generally do videos on software instruments but I thought I'd make an exception with Spitfire Audio's Contemporary Drama Toolkit. I'll be producing a "Thoughts on..." video soon, but in the meantime here's a demo song that I put together using only CDT plus Spectrasonics Stylus RMX for drums.
Given that we are in lock-down with Covid and the possibility of quickly nipping over to the Himalayas is even more remote than ever, I decided to try producing some video footage using Microsoft Flight Simulator. The footage is nice but I was hoping for a bit more realism and better rendering options. Let me know what you think.
But regardless of its suitability for video production, if like me you are dreaming of visiting far off places more than ever these days (and you also don't possess a positive dislike for computer gaming) then I strongly recommend you try it out!
