Some of you already know that I'm working for the Transition Town movement here in Hannover. Together with a bunch of merry people we're building up a place called "Egon's Villa". It's a place to gather, meet friendly people, cook, work in the large garden or simply enjoy lovely conversations. We already had workshops on the topic Urban Gardening, building compost toilets and creating a solar dryer for veg and fruit.
We also want to incorporate spirituality into our work there and because there are some Gaia lovers there, I started building up an altar there. It's still a work in progress but it already pours on the charm.
The painting of Gaia is from the pagan artist Faith Nolton.
The Elemental candle holders as well as the plate are from me, although the symbols are not.
