In the EoC the spirit shields will be getting changed to match up more with the combat triangle.

The Divine, Arcane and the Elysian spirit shield will all have the 30% damage soaking like the Divine is currently does in the live game.
The shields are also being classed in different types of the combat triangle, so meaning that if you use the wrong shield with the wrong combat type you'll be suffering from an accuracy penalty.

Divine = Melee
Elysian = Ranged
Arcane = Magic

Spectral will be a magic shield with out the soaking ability and thus will be a cheaper shield to use for players who don't have the money for an arcane.
