Guys!! I finally got to compose for my first feature film!!!
Been working on this for the last year. Interestingly enough, if it wasn't for Superman, there's a chance I wouldn't have worked on this fan-made Spider-Man movie. It wasn't long after I posted my Man Of Steel 2 video that Gavin (the director) reached out to me, telling me he loved that video and asked me if I wanted to compose for the film.
Primarily, I was to do the action sequences, (including the opening scene and Spider-Man's fight with the Goblin) as there was already composer Caleb Liu working on the rest. But having proved myself after scoring my first sequence, Gavin sent me a pivotal scene where Spider-Man, hopeless and weighed down by the shame and guilt regarding the death of his girlfriend Gwen Stacy, ready to give up on Spider-Man completely, is shown all the good he's done by a young boy named Tim Harris. This particular track is called "Thank You, Web-Head". This scene is my favorite scene in the film, and getting to score it was a real honor. I also scored the last scene of Spider-Man at the cemetery, saying goodbye and moving forward, the track called "Run Towards Living". And finally, the very last moment where Spider-Man swings into the ending, "Final Swing".
Caleb and I both worked on the soundtrack for Spider-Man Lotus, but we worked separately, so we both have our own batch of music for the film produced & written by us individually. He posted his own wonderful suite of music with you can listen to here: youtube.com/watch?v=RcT6-rTYnec
I made this suite to present to you all of my work on the film. I'm really proud of what I made, and also proud of everyone who worked on the film. There's a few cues in here that are either only in the film and not on Spotify release, or unreleased cues that didn't make it in there too.
