A request by edson josé rodrigues and SR Striker, and the eighteenth video in my Spider-Man 4 Trailer series.
Spider-Man 4 was the proposed sequel to Spider-Man 3. There were a number of different rumours and ideas for this film, including the Lizard, Vulture, Black Cat, Carnage, a Venom spinoff, and even an early suggestion of a Sinister Six film. This is my re-creation of the film, using some of the proposed actors and characters.
Does anyone else remember this rumored Spider-Man 4 Villain? John Jameson, best known to movie goers as Mary Jane's fiancée from Spider-Man 2, is the astronaut son of the infamous J. Jonah Jameson who becomes a werewolf-like monster after a strange encounter on the moon.
In my version of the film, John Jameson is part of a crew of astronauts who investigate a possible alien spaceship crash on the moon. While investigating the wreckage, John discovers a strange alien device resembling a red crystal, and brings it back with him.
Back on earth, Peter Parker is assigned to cover the astronaunts return and is present along with John when the gem is being studied by Dr. Conners.
As the moon rises over New York, the gem activates and physically bonds itself to John and transforms him into an alien being resembling a werewolf. The newly created Man-Wolf then goes on a rampage and only Spider-Man can stop it.
I see the film making calls back to John Jameson previous appearance in Spider-Man 2. Maybe including some personal conflict between Peter and John, as both are or were rivals for Mary Jane's affection. John might also perhaps seek out Mary Jane for help in between transformations, probably inadvertently placing her in danger from the Man-Wolf.
