The main issue is that this game was designed for Resolutions with an Aspect Ratio by 4:3 instead of 16:9 and 16:10 (Widescreen).

I will also release a user-friendly tool which allows you to choose one of the several resolutions (720p, 1080p, 1440p).

Moreover, the game will crash instantly, if you try to play with a resolution that isn't supported by your monitor.
