Hello, today a video in collaboration with Thirty-three about a spider farm! I will show you 4 designs and explain how it works =D
Sorry for carts in the collection system, I hate them too, but no other ways :/
As for skeletons glitching through roof, here is possibly why:
a) They spawn a bit higher with their head in slab
b) In 1.10 there was a bug when they spawn with wrong hitbox and then grew upon reloading and it's still not fixed properly (suggested by eta)
First design is most convenient to build in my opinion, it has a ton of spawning spaces in 2 subchunks, ne bedrock breaking and really fast. Third design should be the fastest in 1.13 though
Also you get about 670 arrows and 670 bones per hour

UPD: летучие мыши заспавнились пока двери были открыты. Ферма не была протестирована и имела критический баг. Для спавна летучих мышей нужна высота в 2 блока, если же 1, то потолок должен быть из полублоков!

This video isnt just an april fools joke, but also a good opportunity for me to learn editing and 3D animation for Minecraft videos, so I hope you loved it!
The first challenge was - what counts as a 2x2 piston door? So I went and made definition for this contraption:
2x2 piston door is a vertical 2x2 grid of blocks that moves using pistons to the side/up/down that way, so that place , were was that grid, now air blocks and 2x2 grid perpendicular to the door shutters is also air and player can walk through it (Im not from english speaking country, thats why its hard for me to make a good definition for it, maybe you will make a better work in the comments).

Hello, today we made something cool for you and it is current fastest witch farm :D
Uses 5 subshunks, no solid blocks on feet level, works on a clock and shifts only thouse rows that have activated tripwire, instant witch detection and big roof! Also 1 ticks 54 blocks on the sides, so will be more spawning spaces each tick.
As for the drops you should get:
~780 redstone/h
~780 glowstone/h
~780 gunpowder/h
~780 sugar/h
~780 spider eyes/h
~780 glass bottles/h
~1560 sticks/h
Note: make clock faster if you have more than 1 witch hut. Also if you are not aiming for speed, I will recomend you building simpler version like limangos or Heinzs with no witch detection, since it adds some lag. If something is not working, blame Edd ;)
Also I updated world download with another design that I just made, everyhting is same exept now it shifts 3 rows insted of 1 to prevent witches from walking

Hello, today we have a couple of new fastest farms ;)
Note: 1.1M design is directional, only build it in north-south direction.
Note 2: Im a bit lazy, so collection sistems are not perfect and sometimes items flying out.
Note 3: this farms are super laggy, so before building them make sure to test if everything works fine for you, if its too laggy I would recommend building just 30 high or something like that.
Note 4: to get opened iron trapdoor, you just need to push it with piston from powered position.

I made this stupid concept in a couple of hours and I dont really want to spend more time on such useless thing, but I wanted to make it and I made it. I made this video before enderman farm, but got around to uploading it only now. I hope someone who is intrested will take this idea and improve, bc you can make it a lot faster, smaller and less laggy for sure :P
