There is incredible variation in the colors of these L3-L4 nymphs from the same ootheca. Ranging from soft yellow and tan, to purple, pink, and combinations of green and red, these nymphs just may represent the most colorful species of mantis. The pearlescence of the abdomen only enhances the impact of these seemingly unnatural colors.
