ℹ️ About the Episode: It's been said that life is about the journey, not the destination. That applies to RV life, too—and if it's true, you'll enjoy this episode! Most of the "between-the-episodes" episodes are about sharing the process. These videos usually occur when we're just trying to get from point A to B or things don't go to plan. In this case, we're making our way from Washington to Arizona (about 1,400 miles) in six days. Normally, we would select Harvest Hosts locations all the way home, but the 100+ degree temperatures made RV parks necessary. With one exception: one night, we pulled into a Love's Truck Stop to overnight among the semis. This experience prompted a conversation about where truck stops rank among all our overnight options. 🚨 Spoiler Alert: Our Top 10 List in order of preference. After further consideration, we created the complete list below based on experience, price and convenience. But we all travel differently, in different types of RVs, and have different needs, so your list might look different! 1) National park campground 2) State park campground 3) Harvest Hosts 4) Elks Lodge (members only) 5) Hipcamp 6) RV park with full hookups 7) Boondockers Welcome 8) Cracker Barrel 9) Walmart 10) Truck stop
